Since 1988, National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day is celebrated on 4 August. throughout Australia. This day is to honour the Stolen Generations and to celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children. The Badgebup Aboriginal Corporation’s celebration in Katanning reflects the town’s multi-cultural society, which includes around 50 language groups!
