Portraits at the inlet
When the planets align - sometimes you find yourself in a perfect location with beautiful winter’s afternoon light, a gorgeous family wearing colourful clothes…and pelicans.
Lifestyle family portrait session
We’ve been talking about doing a portrait session for ages and this weekend it was our last chance before Sarah takes down the canvas dome that has been home for her family for the last few years, and relocates it to another piece of land. Sarah made the dome herself, and her children made their own bedrooms…the structure, the windows…everything. I can barely get our kids to make their beds! They’re inspiring to say the least. We made sure we got some photos of Nutmeg, their jersey cow, and Banjo the dog was making sure he was in plenty of photos too.
Family portraits on the farm
It's always lovely to meet new families and it's extra-special when you know you're going to be photographing their wedding this year too. I loved my afternoon amongst the sheep and kangaroos with Deanne, Glen and Georgia, and a soundtrack of raucous black cockatoos.
Albany family studio session
Lucy was keen to get some gorgeous black and white family studio portraits for their home, with husband Nico, daughter Coco and labradoodle Marlow. The prints look amazing!
Denmark Studio Sessions
For the last couple of years I’ve done a pre-Christmas special on studio sessions. The first year it was because I had the time and space while I was holding a 3-week long exhibition in the town centre of Denmark… and this last time it was because I’d had so much fun the year before!
Pepper & Salt {family portraits}
If you've been to Denmark and you're a foodie, chances are you've been to Pepper & Salt Restaurant and tasted Silas's amazing food, which gives a solid spicy nod to his Fijian Indian heritage. As Silas says, Ang is the Salt to his Pepper, and their three children are the spicy blend of the two!
