Last Saturday, surfers around the Australian coast paddled out in a national day of action for the Fight For The Bight. These paddle outs are part of the ongoing protest against Norwegion energy company, Equinor’s plans to deep-sea drill into the Great Australian Bight for oil. By Equinor’s own admission, the worst case scenerio if this goes ahead could have devastating impacts on the Australian coast from Margaret River to Port Macquarie.
