This week I combined a rigorous exercise workout with a photo shoot as I hiked to the top of Mt Frankland, near Walpole, Western Australia with all my camera gear, to photograph author Sarah Drummond for The Guardian (UK) Weekend magazine.

Nothing compares to holding your wedding album in your hands, and sharing it with your family and friends...not just now, but for generations to come. 

I’m so excited to be sharing these photos although I’ve been procrastinating for the last couple of days, trying to narrow down my favourites and wanting to find the words to do justice to this incredible wedding. If I live to be 100 it will still be in my Top 10 Life Experiences.

If you've been to Denmark and you're a foodie, chances are you've been to Pepper & Salt Restaurant and tasted Silas's amazing food, which gives a solid spicy nod to his Fijian Indian heritage. As Silas says, Ang is the Salt to his Pepper, and their three children are the spicy blend of the two!

I love how all their personalities shine through, not just in their choice of outfits but in their approach to being photographed. This wedding was always going to be a little bit special with a Chinese tea ceremony, a bride who loves to create surprises and a groom who was not only in for surprises on their wedding day but had no idea what their honeymoon involved! It was an intimate affair with just 15 guests...wait, 17 guests - that was the first surprise for Jason when two of his best friends turned up having driven for 4 hours to get there. (I'm guessing Jason realises he has an awesome new wife.)
