Kelly & Jason {fine art book}
Nothing compares to holding your wedding album in your hands, and sharing it with your family and friends...not just now, but for generations to come.
Pepper & Salt {family portraits}
If you've been to Denmark and you're a foodie, chances are you've been to Pepper & Salt Restaurant and tasted Silas's amazing food, which gives a solid spicy nod to his Fijian Indian heritage. As Silas says, Ang is the Salt to his Pepper, and their three children are the spicy blend of the two!
All The Girls {studio portraits}
I love how all their personalities shine through, not just in their choice of outfits but in their approach to being photographed. This session in the pop-up studio was such a delight with this beautiful family. I'm fully booked now until the new year but taking bookings for 2017. Get in touch for more info.
Kelly & Jason {wedding}
This wedding was always going to be a little bit special with a Chinese tea ceremony, a bride who loves to create surprises and a groom who was not only in for surprises on their wedding day but had no idea what their honeymoon involved! It was an intimate affair with just 15 guests...wait, 17 guests - that was the first surprise for Jason when two of his best friends turned up having driven for 4 hours to get there. (I'm guessing Jason realises he has an awesome new wife.)
Salt Story Pt2 {portraits}
You may remember the earlier blog post about author and fisher, Sarah Drummond featuring images I'd taken of her and her dog Selkie at their remote hideaway in early autumn. I had driven home thinking about Sarah, completely at home in the elements...in her element, content in the isolation that others might consider to be desolation.
Becky & Royston {Denmark wedding}
Becky and Royston's love story began at a Perth bus stop...they got chatting, sat together on the bus, both missed their stops, and then continued talking at the train station for the rest of the evening. Each went home knowing they'd just met someone who would change their life.
