Carly & Jeremy {wedding}
Any man who flies secretly to the other side of Australia and back to buy the engagement ring that his beautiful girlfriend has fallen in love with in a magazine, has to be a keeper! Once I heard that story, I knew this wedding was going to be romantic and very special.
Three of my very favourite things about Denmark are the softness of the peppermint trees, the wildness of Lights Beach and Silas's food. Carly and Jeremy combined all three to create the perfect, intimate and relaxed wedding day, not just for themselves and their guests, but for their photographer too! Add a moving hand-binding ceremony into the mix using Pop Bob's tie and his late beloved wife's brooch, lots of beautiful sisters, little love letters to each other that they read once they were on their own at the beach, one of the most amazing wedding dresses I've ever seen, and bursts of sunshine at just the right moments, and the day could not have been any better.
Everyone got ready surrounded by the peppie trees at William Bay Country Cottages, celebrant Maggie Anderson brought so much heart to the ceremony, and Silas and the team at Pepper & Salt Restaurant worked their magic at the long table dinner in the cellar door at Forest Hill Winery. Tamara of Little Secret did Carly's make-up and the girls at Zenphire did her hair; The flowers were by Lindy at Lush Floral Designs; Carly's platinum engagement ring with a pink Argyle diamond was from MDT in Melbourne, and had diamonds added by Rohan Jewellery to turn it into her wedding ring. Jeremy's ring also came from Rohan Jewellery. Carly wore an Anna Campbell dress with Badgley Mischka shoes (from the white collection), and Jeremy's suit was from Rhode and Beckett with shoes by Bally.
