The WA Opera performed recently at the Valley of the Giants, near Denmark Western Australia.

Rehearsals for Annette Carmichael’s latest community dance production, Chorus, are now well underway. It is the third part of the trilogy following on from The Beauty Index and A Light Shade of Red.

We’ve been talking about doing a portrait session for ages and this weekend it was our last chance before Sarah takes down the canvas dome that has been home for her family for the last few years, and relocates it to another piece of land. Sarah made the dome herself, and her children made their own bedrooms…the structure, the windows…everything. I can barely get our kids to make their beds! They’re inspiring to say the least. We made sure we got some photos of Nutmeg, their jersey cow, and Banjo the dog was making sure he was in plenty of photos too.

I had the fantastic opportunity this month to do stills photography on a new ABC TV series. Albany on WA’s amazing south coast shines once again as the ABC in association with Screen Australia commences production on Itch, a 10 part children’s live-action adventure series.
